New to OCDRT on 9/29/2014, Mario is an adult male, around 3 years of age, who found himself unclaimed in the shelter. He has multiple bite wounds on his body that are healing. Despite what his injuries tell us, he introduced nicely to our variety of fosters; senior dominate female, wild little puppy, submissive older puppy, and resident adult male. He is initiating play with the younger two already. He crated well overnight and traveled well on transport. The shelter speaks highly of his temperament and we agree! He adores humans and just wants your attention. He will see the vet on 10/6 for his heartworm test and exam.
Please check back as we get to know him over the next 2 – 3 weeks.

Mario was a stellar patient at the vet clinic. He has tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases! He is fully crate trained, seems housebroken, adores all humans that he meets and continues to do great with other dogs. He loved going for a car ride! He would be a good candidate for someone new to the ACD breed. Mario plays well with male or female dogs, however we have discovered he really comes to life playing with his female friends!
